A fun little model, this is the Platz 1/72 MQ-1 Predator UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle). I quite like the new crop of UAV's and we are now seeing more of them being released as model kits. This was a quick build with the general fit of the kit being good (wing roots needed some sanding).

The MQ-1 is the armed (with Hellfire missiles) version of the RQ-1 Predator. The squadron patch on the base adds a welcome touch of colour to the finished presentation of the model.
