Originally built to take part in a group build with some friends, this project unexpectedly sparked a genuine interest in motorsport car and bike models for me. Throughout the build, I learned a great deal—from mastering new techniques to recognizing a few rookie mistakes along the way—which ultimately helped me grow as a modeler. One of the most rewarding aspects was gaining confidence in working with smooth, glossy finishes, something I hadn’t explored much before. This experience has definitely opened the door to exploring more in this genre, and I’m excited to continue improving and experimenting with similar models in the future.
